my meager yet decent finds
met hunting buddy Juan this morning for a 6 hr. adventure into the past for some "retirement diggN. " the first few empty house lots didn't turn up much except for the expected shallow modern coins and trash. As we were making our way to what would be the best lot of the day, I got a 5" quarter signal on my E Trac. thinking this was gonna be my first silver of the day, I dropped down to dig and retrieve my prize. finally getting through the maze of roots, first decent find for me would be an aluminum stamped good luck token. once we finally got to searching the " best " lot, the desirable finds started to show up often. wheats from the teens, a Chinese coin, more tokens, a 1911 V nickel, and a 1898 Indian head cent . no silver ( again ) for me. but had a great time diggin with my friend.
