Hit a old house lot that we all have previously hunted. But city has done some scraping as of lately, so we were off to see what is not being masked anymore.
First off its realy trashy here and super dry. First 2 finds were clad quarters. One by me and other by my son. He is getting pretty good with his new XTerra 305. I get a penny/ dime signal down about 5 inches. I was hoping for a silver dime but out pops an Octagonal Aluminum Palmolive soap cake token. While sitting under the canopy of a HUGE magnolia drinking some water, Ethan comes over and says " whats this daddy". Wow!! You have a medallion or token. His first old relic. Very proud !! Then he takes after his old man and pulls another relic. It turns out to be an 1800s , early 1900s stocking clip. Had a great time making memories with my boy.
