Had a full day of retirement diggin' !
First yard was a GOOD ONE!
House was a vacant soon to be torn down city improvement project. Been dry here so grass was not too high.
I knew I had only one shot here so i cherry picked silver signals and marked other possible signals with metal flagging.
Ended up with 3 silvers. 2 Rosies and my 5th SLQ of the year. Other decent finds were the usual wheaties and trash. Plus 2 old nickels. 1 buff and 1 V.
2nd yard yeilded 2 more silver quarters, both Washingtons. And a cut in half whiskey tag. 3rd spot was another sidewalk tear out. Tough conditions, ground was super hard and iron nulls. So i slowed way down and put on my 8x6 SEF.
First decent signal was a SLAMMING 07-48 signal on my ETrac. Yes!! Another silver, and this time a Walking Liberty half. Walked a few steps and BAM, another quarter signal. Silver was flowing through South Arkansas today. Broke my record with 7 silvers. Man i love this hobby.
